Your settings
Where to change your login email, company details, team, notifications, plan and data.
Open Settings from the account menu (your initials, top right). Settings has seven tabs; you see the ones that apply to your account.
The tabs
- Profile — your name, your role and the email address you sign in with. To change that address, enter the new one under Login Email; your login email changes only after you click the confirmation link sent to it.
- Company — your company's details, importer details, product categories and the time zone printed on your documents. Only owners and managers can change them.
- Team — invite teammates and change their roles.
- Notifications — what Aleph tells you, and how (below).
- Billing — your plan, billing period and card.
- Data & privacy — Cookie preferences, Export (a ZIP of your data) and Delete account.
- Activity — what you have done in Aleph, newest first.
Notifications
Everyone on your team is told when a deadline on your company's records is coming up or past due, and about regulation changes. Your settings are yours alone:
- Email — one email with everything new, daily or weekly on Mondays; never an empty one.
- Bell notifications — the same notices under the bell.
- First notice — 30, 60, 90 or 180 days before. After that you hear again 30 days before, 7 days before and once it is past due. These are Aleph's reminders, not legal deadlines.
- Tell me about — switch off a kind of notice you don't want.
- What your company watches — the federal rules your team hears about when they change. It is the company's setting: anyone on the team can change it. Click Save after changing it.
INFO: Old bookmarks still work: an address such as the old Billing or Account page opens the matching tab.
