Which compliance modules apply to you?
FSVP, CPSIA, Prop 65, PFAS, CPSC eFiling — quick guide.
Aleph supports four core compliance modules plus CPSC eFiling. Modules are derived automatically from your product categories.
- FSVP (Foreign Supplier Verification Program) — required for US food importers. Activates when you select Food & Beverage as a product category.
- CPSIA / CPC — required for children's products. Activates when you select Children's Products. You'll generate Children's Product Certificates here.
- Prop 65 — California chemical disclosure and warning labels. Activates for Consumer Goods and most physical goods sold into California.
- PFAS — multi-state reporting and disclosure (CA, ME, NY, WA, CO, CT).
- CPSC eFiling — coming July 2026. One-click electronic submission of CPC data to US Customs.
Here's how product categories map to modules:
| Product Category | Modules | |
|---|---|---|
| Food & Beverage | FSVP | |
| Children's Products | CPSIA, Prop 65 | |
| Consumer Goods | Prop 65, PFAS | |
| Sports & Recreation | Prop 65, PFAS | |
| Electronics | Prop 65, PFAS | |
| Other categories | PFAS (state-dependent) |
Not in this list? PFAS rules apply in CA, ME, NY, WA, CO, and CT regardless of category.
TIP: Not sure which module applies? Add your product, set its category, and the right modules surface automatically on its Compliance tab. Need to customize for a specific product? See Per-product compliance module overrides.
