Foreign supplier evaluation
The record of the evaluation you must conduct and document before approving a foreign supplier and deciding its verification activities (21 CFR 1.505(a)).

Supplier approval
The record that you approved the foreign supplier on the basis of that evaluation (21 CFR 1.505(b)).

Verification activity record
The record of a foreign supplier verification activity you conducted or obtained, such as an onsite audit, sampling and testing, or a review of the supplier's food safety records (21 CFR 1.506(e)).

The record of the corrective action you took when you determined that a foreign supplier does not produce the food as the rule requires (21 CFR 1.508).

Written verification procedures
Your written procedures for ensuring that appropriate foreign supplier verification activities are conducted for the foods you import (21 CFR 1.506(b)).

Qualified individual record
The record of the qualified individual who develops your FSVP and performs each of its activities (21 CFR 1.503).

Hazard analysis
The written analysis of the known or reasonably foreseeable hazards in a food you import, to determine whether any hazard requires a control (21 CFR 1.504).
