Terms of Service

Effective April 13, 2026

Welcome to Aleph (alephco.io), operated by Aleph Compliance, Inc. (“Aleph,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use Aleph.

1. What Aleph Is

Aleph is a SaaS platform that helps US importers manage product compliance. This includes workflows for FSVP, CPSIA/CPC, Prop 65, and PFAS regulations, along with certificate tracking and document management.

Important: Aleph is a compliance management tool. It does not provide legal, regulatory, or compliance advice. You are responsible for ensuring your products meet all applicable laws and regulations. When in doubt, consult a qualified attorney or compliance professional.

2. Account Registration & Eligibility

Aleph is intended for business users. By registering, you represent that:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You are authorized to act on behalf of the business associated with your account.
  • The information you provide is accurate and complete.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us immediately at support@alephco.io if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Subscription & Billing

  • Aleph offers monthly subscription plans. Pricing details are available on our Pricing page.
  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

4. Your Responsibilities

When using Aleph, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate product data, supplier information, and compliance documentation.
  • Use the platform in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Not use Aleph for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of the platform.

Compliance is ultimately your responsibility. Aleph provides tools and workflows to help you manage the process, but it is up to you to verify that your products, labels, and documentation meet all legal requirements.

5. Data Ownership

  • Your data is yours. All product data, compliance documents, certificates, and other content you upload or create in Aleph remains your property.
  • You can export your data at any time.
  • You can request deletion of your data by contacting support@alephco.io.
  • We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our platform. This data will never identify you or your business.

6. Intellectual Property

The Aleph platform — including its design, code, workflows, and documentation — is the intellectual property of Aleph Compliance, Inc. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our platform.

You retain full ownership of any content you create or upload through the platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Aleph is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We are not liable for any compliance failures, regulatory penalties, fines, or legal consequences that result from your use of the platform.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

8. Termination

  • You may close your account at any time by contacting support@alephco.io.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or use the platform in a way that harms other users or our infrastructure.
  • Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days in case you change your mind. After 30 days, it will be permanently deleted.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or through the platform. Continued use of Aleph after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
